When did it become creepy to have facial hair? No respectable person looks like ZZ Top and I've been told that my beard is potentially off putting.
Looking at the past Presidents of the United States I see a rough estimate of social acceptance. Our first 16 Presidents were all clean faced. Abe Lincoln was the first with any kind of facial hair. All but two of the next 12 had weird, crazy hair patterns. Woodrow Wilson reestablished the hairless trend.
What was so different about 1860-1914? Why hasn't one President in the last 100 years had as much as a mustache or sideburns? What do you think?

I dont know, Abe's beard was kinda crazy too. And looking back at history, I think it is probably socially unacceptable today to have a harem, as it was once unacceptable for women to wear pants. Looks like you are just stuck being an outcast
