Civic Pride

I've been reading the paper lately. The past few days have had articles about the lack of a structured historical district or something. Basically, I've been reading about old houses and buildings downtown and past and current renovations. Also, they've mentioned a lot about structures that have been torn down (like the pic from yesterday's post. Tragedy IMHO) for whatever reason. Apparently this hotel was unnecessary but just a few years later we got this one just a few years later. I prefer the first one, personally. 

Anyway, the point of this madness is that I spent 2 hours looking through these pictures and it got me all excited about my hometown (lame right?) So I've decided that BC should have a wiki documenting it's grand past and excellent current and it's tiring me out today. So much so that this blog has lost steam.
